The Clinical and Translational Glycoscience Research Center (CTGRC) at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington, DC invites applications for a position of Analytical Scientist with experience in mass spectrometry of proteins and their glycosylation. This person will join an experienced interactive team of mass spectrometrists, informaticians, and glycobiologists to optimize glycoproteomic workflows on an Orbitrap Fusion Lumos w ETD/UVPD (Thermo), a Q-exactive (Thermo) and a timsTOF Pro (Bruker). The workflows will be applied to collaborative research projects supported by the CTGRC. Minimum requirements include: a PhD degree, 7-years hands on experience with mass spectrometry of proteins and their glycosylation, and a productive publication record. Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work independently, and work efficiently in a collaborative research environment. This is a Research Faculty position with the rank and compensation commensurate with the experience and accomplishments of the applicant.
