Sincere congrats to Carolyn R. Bertozzi on her Nobel Prize shared with Morten P. Medal and K. Barry Sharpless!! Carolyn walks with grace the boundary of chemistry and biology and she continues to inspire her glycoscience colleagues. It was certainly inspiring for us to work with her and her group on the projects supported by the NIH Common Fund Glycoscience Program and we are proud to continue our collaboration on the heparan 6-O-endosulfatases with Steven D. Rosen, Professor Emeritus at UCSF, who advised Carolyn during her postdoctoral studies.
